Workforce clusters

Texas has identified several job clusters that can help individuals identify interested career field and break those fields down into job opportunities that can provide growth opportunities.  Texas Economic Development & Tourism Office has identified some of these clusters (Advanced Manufacturing, Energy Evolution, Food and Livestock Products, Hospitality Tourism Culture, Information Technology & AI, Life Sciences and Biotechnology, Petroleum Refining and Chemicals, Professional Services and Corporate Operations, Rare Earth Elements and Mineral Mining, and Transportation and Logistics) and broken these clusters into employers to assist people in Identifying job opportunities that match their interests and skills. 

Career Explorer

"My Texas Future" has provided the Career Explorer tool.  This tool makes individuals aware of Job opportunities in Texas.  This tool indicates Jobs that are in demand, pay standards and provides information for schooling and skills training.

USAA Jobs

USAA Jobs links individuals to federal jobs in their area and nationwide. 

Indeed.com

Utilizing Job search websites such as Indeed.com can allow people to flag jobs that are interesting to them, Track Jobs as they become available and apply through the website.  

Linked-In

Linked-In is a Career networking app.  This app allows people to build their professional profile and connect with fields and individuals that share their professional interests.  Networking and community are important to professional development strengthening an individual's identity as a worker.
